Every vision needs a plan. Plans that are foundations of the future, built to perfection by masters of architecture. Established in 1996, Morphogenesis Architecture Studio is a conglomerate of some of India's leading architects and interior designers. Based out of New Delhi and Pune, the firm is now in the process of setting up an architecture school in India.
Their portfolio of projects include everything, from institutional buildings, IT offices, shopping malls and multiplexes, to hotels, township, group housing complexes, schools and art galleries.
The Studio is internationally acclaimed as the leading India design firm today, while their work has been appreciated at the Gallerie ROM (Norway), RIBA (London), Nature Morte (Delhi) and AA Asia (Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan).
Among their many accolades are the Cityscape India Award, Cityscape Architecgture Review Award, the A+D Spectrum Award, the Archidesign Award for Architect of the Year, and the IIID-MK Award for interiors. They have also received the highest honour for architectural excellence in India - the IIIA Award, presented by the Indian Institute of Architects.
The Studio's most prominent projects include Kolkata's Swabhumi Complex, Siliguri's City Centre and Uttorayon township, Gurgaon's BPTP IT Park, Delhi's Biotique Spa and Goa's Mahindra Resort. Not to mention several residencies and PVR Complexes in Delhi and the NCR.
But what really sets them apart is their in-depth research on evolutionary and generative models, aimed at developing structures that are in tune with their natural environment. This process, involving complex computational techniques, offes an evolutionary approach towards the creation of form, structure and organisation in physical and virtual architecture.
